At CapGen Seeds we develop seeds of tomato, pepper, cucumber, eggplant, melon, watermelon, bean, pea and papaya, with our own genetic improvement programmes.
As seed breeders, we are part of the biotechnology sector applied to agronomy: we have our own technology (molecular markers, doubled haploids and phytopathology) that we apply across our three R&D centres: Vícar, Gran Canaria and Agadir. More than forty researchers and over one hundred varieties developed back our work.

We are the only papaya breeder in Europe. We work to bring to market papayas adapted to our climate and to consumers — smaller in size and with excellent organoleptic quality — with a lower carbon footprint. Papaya Nostrum® brings together our six papaya seed lines, adapted to greenhouse growing.
